silverdale
from a painting by B D Knox dated 27 march 1876, which shows a mail train passing Reading, which shows the iron cab fitted. Does anyone else have any information on this feature? Also of interest is the first vehicle with the guards/luggage van? with raised lookout. Behind it is the split level roofed post office van. Also a picture of Grindley with similar type of iron roof. TRAIN 2 NOV 2018.pdf TEXT NOV 2018.pdf TRAIN NOV 2018.pdf
