Somewhere on the East Coast

Permission has been granted by the WRMS committee for a layout to be built to replace Troutons due to be completed for November 2021.

 

The layout will be located somewhere on a diversionary route somewhere on the East Coast. It will feature main line running with a cement works and household waste disposal site. It will occupy a similar footprint to Troutons requiring 3 operators per session to operate. DCC.

Hmm! I wonder if it should be based a few miles south of Dunbar and near a nuclear power station as well?

And a new power Station fuelled by biomass as well

One of the traffic flows will require about 25 waste containers being made. Never made a master or cast anything before other than mask making etc when I was at work so 2019 skill challenge will be learning and developing those skills. Any pointers on techniques or materials welcome

Created a simplified drawing to help create the end pieces as unthinkable will cast the main body and end pieces separately.
