Looking at the satellite view on Google, there appears to be space for a couple of hundred cars at least. Plus there were several lwb minibuses parked up, so no access issues for vans.

Mike

Thanks for the info Mike, I'll be there! The last time I did the Expo North was at Slowit!

I'd like to attend, Is there ample on-site parking at this venue?

There's ample parking at the front of the school and elsewhere on the premises. There's also additional parking across the road adjacent to the all-weather football pitch. A pedestrian controlled crossing gives easy access to the school.

Off to Wakefield with Suddaby in the morning, armed with 30m tape, pens and notepad.  We'll be meeting up with the site manager and then measuring up the two halls, noting locations of power points and generally getting the feel of the place. We're also meeting up with our potential caterers, the Crocodile Sisters, who have catered for Scalefour North since its move to QEGS a few years ago.

Meanwhile in another country our esteemed exhibition manager, Mr Martin Wales, is busy booking layouts. We have a very large EM North Eastern Region epic lined up. Watch this space. More will be revealed once I can confirm that we'll be able to accommodate it in one of the two halls!

Will there be Leaflets for us trades to hand out before the event ??

Yes there will. First we have to do the layout, demonstrators' and trade invitations. Once we've confirmed the content, we can then start rolling out the publicity.

The meet up at Kettlethorpe went very well this morning and we've made some key decisions, such as where admissions will be managed, how one of the halls will be laid out and the catering arrangements.

600 flyers are being taken up to S4 North at the weekend Brian. See Tony Sullivan on the Saturday or Pete Rigby on Sunday.
