DougN Posted June 7, 2010 Share Posted June 7, 2010 Yes it all does look very nice. I know the better half ordered the Beck hole and Goathland inn for my birthday. That was getting on for a month ago. How long do they take to mail things out? (though it will hve to come via airmail as it is Australia!) I have not heard if TMC are quick or slow senders! MDM Ltd Posted June 7, 2010 Share Posted June 7, 2010 The real thing is a cracker too. Tiny walkers' bar serving great beer selection and doorstep sandwiches. Beer Cake is a novelty too. Drive to Pickering, take the steam train to Goathland then walk two miles through some of the most peaceful acres in our crowded island. Glynys sells the model in her shop next to the bar. Ring ahead to make sure she has some, or walk another mile to see TMC and meet the guys who do the custom locos. There's even some holiday caravans to stay in if you're too knackered to walk back. Doug, It is a lovely model.I also found TMC's service a little slow and after a phone call it arrived the next week.They claimed to have sent it and that it had obviously gone astray in the post.The Goathland Inn is still showing as not in stock so perhaps they are waiting to send both.A phone call I am sure will clarify.Hope this helps.
