mozzer models Posted July 20, 2011 Author Share Posted July 20, 2011 Here a Update on Logging Caboose's bothe the bodys & chassies got a coat of Halfords gray primer once dry the chassies got a coat of Halfords mat black The Bodys had the roofs masked off then got a coat of Halfords red oxide primmer latter this week i will attack the bodys with a glass fiber brush so that some of the gary paint show throw the oxide topcoat than it will be on with the weathering 003 by Mozzer models, on Flickr 004 by Mozzer models, on Flickr Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

mozzer models Posted March 10, 2012 Author Share Posted March 10, 2012 Today at narrow gauge north i picked up a built kit of the O scale Japanese Standard gauge loco & 3 coaches Thinking that they were make nice Narrow gauge items O scale Japanese standard gauge 2-4-0T plastic kit loco 002 by Mozzer models, on Flickr i removed the tanks, cab & chimne placing them on a OO Bachmann WD 2-8-0 giving me this 003 by Mozzer models, on Flickr it will need a new cab floor & footplate but i like the look of this Now the coaches I removed the plastic wheels I am using some Hornby railroad chassie on these 004 by Mozzer models, on Flickr chassie with its 12mm wheels 005 by Mozzer models, on Flickr I have replaced the 12mm wheels with Hornby 14mm coach wheels 006 by Mozzer models, on Flickr with a but of packing we get this 007 by Mozzer models, on Flickr 008 by Mozzer models, on Flickr so far i have only don the work to see how things look it all needs more work but i am happy with how it all looks so far 009 by Mozzer models, on Flickr 010 by Mozzer models, on Flickr 011 by Mozzer models, on Flickr heres 2 photos with the coach next to a Bachmann On30 coach to compare size & hight 012 by Mozzer models, on Flickr 013 by Mozzer models, on Flickr Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

jeffro62 Posted March 11, 2012 Share Posted March 11, 2012 I put the chassis from a Bachmann Thomas the tank clarabel coach under my combination coach. Thinking of a Mantua 2-6-2 running gear under the engine with added domes to do away with the stretched look of the Vulcan, The Thomas stuff here goes in the clearance bin after Christmas and powered units can be picked up on the cheap.
