March this year, from Frindsbury churchyard overlooking Strood station with a longish lens. Two 466s, one on a Maidstone line service and one leading a Gillingham-Charing Cross. Shame it was a bit dull.

took this the other night in stourbridge, the 66 on the left had just returned from rowley regis after banking a steel train up old hill, the train on the right was waiting to go into the goods loop so the other loco could drop on the rear to bank its coal train up there too

This is about as interesting as it gets on Northern Ireland Railways on any day of the week.

A pair of CAF 3000 Class photographed today passing near Sydenham Station.

A few of Blackpool Tram combinations I dug out for a similar thread on another group...

Refurbished Brush railcoach 626 and un-refurbished 632, both carrying the 1970s livery style in 2010. Ironically it is the refurbished 626 which has since left the tramway for preservation at Birkenhead...

First and last of the Centenary class 641 and 648.

Refurbished Balloon 723 and un-refurbished Balloon 703, both carrying the 1980s livery style in 2008.

Twin-car sets 682+672 and 685+675 at Fleetwood Ferry; 685/675 are overtaking 682/672 parked up for a meal break while on private hire. Unusually both are trailer-car leading.

Millennium Class rebuilt Balloons also showing the two variations in layout of the bus inspired 'Metro' livery as applied to the trams.

The entire fleet of Jubilee class (and the only two O-P-O double deck trams in the world!) in contrasting Advertising liveries...

Finally bonus prize is three trams which were originally of the same class...

Rebuilt Balloon 713, restored Balloon 700 and Millennium class 724

two 66's passing at oakenshaw.

i know you cant see the other one, but the back of its train can.

If you'd been on the other bridge, would you have got the two in shot together?

Just as well there's no sound on that photo - would we have to censor out the swearing?

Finally got my old fotopic links earlier in the thread updated as well, so here's a couple of new ones to celebrate - already an extinct sub-class 378007 and 378018 pass at West Hampstead on the North London line...

And I think this is just about a three-fer - at Canonbury's ELL platforms 378138 heads for Highbury & Islington as 378143 arrives from there, whilst a 378/2 sits on the NLL platform opposite.

Gaer Jn Newport, 37204 approaches with empty coil wagons from Newport Docks

en-route to Llanwern, while 37224 is just about to enter Gaer Tunnel with a

train of coil and empty Cov-ABs for BSC Ebbw Vale Tinplate works, 7/5/85.

post-7081-0-32420500-1320685545_thumb.jpg

Exeter Central, set P465 is bound for St Davids, as set P468 is on an Exmouth working, 17/7/85.

post-7081-0-43949800-1320686034_thumb.jpg

Peak Forest, perhaps not strictly passing trains as the class 37 on the left was involved in a shunt move,

I think it was 37106 on the left, my notes are not clear about the 37 on the right, 12/7/84.

post-7081-0-19087400-1320686559_thumb.jpg

Gloucester, an unidentified class 47 waits on the middle road, my notes say that 47088

was working 14.15 Plymouth - Leeds, but I can't be sure. 10/7/85

cheers
