RMweb Gold beast66606 Posted March 9, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 9, 2011 60011 has been around the North West for a while now but has been working out of Peak Forest, it ventured to Warrington and 40044 grabbed it B) (thanks to him), it worked a ballast from Acton Grange - Crewe which was unusually routed through Chester to Hooton where it reversed and passed through Chester again. 06 March 2011 60011 and 66170 on 6L41, 09:00, Acton Grange Junction - Crewe Basford Hall infrastructure Hooton Capenhurst 09 March 2011 It finally got onto the Liverpool coal circuit yesterday but I couldn't get out, today I had a friend at Warrington who told me when it left, so I was able to time my visit to Edge Hill to perfection, it was booked low level, which means a run round at Edge Hill, I was in position ready, the points went over, the 60 came into view however ... 60011 on 6F78, 11:30, Fiddlers Ferry Power Station - Liverpool Bulk Terminal empty HTAs I had my zoom lens and was ready to get a nice shot when I was potted by a Pendo After arriving in the Wappings, the loco runs round the train and then it heads off to Liverpool Bulk Terminal A surprise, 57312, The Hood, arrived from Longsight and was awaiting a path to cross into Downhill Sidings, the 60 got the road first so this (not brilliant) shot was possible This view is straight into the sun, so again, not brilliant.
