Anyone know of any model shops - even better, shops with train stuff in - in the region? There used to be a small model/toy shop in Antibes with a small selection of railway items but that went years ago, and when it was open I had no interest in French modelling. This time we will have a car and a bit of time to do some driving, so if there is anything within a few hours of the area I would consider it, if it could be tied into a nice day out. Plumloco Posted May 18, 2011 Share Posted May 18, 2011 If you fancy a day trip to Marseille, the best model shop is; TPMR 32 Rue Jean-Roque 13006 Marseille +33(0)491480127 Small old-fashioned shop. They have a good train section and even sell Peco points. Very good selection of radio-controlled boats and planes, too. TPMR stands for Everything for Models Reduced, but prices are strong compared to the UK. The shop is just off the Cours Lieutaud which has two or three very good diecast model car shops and a superb shop selling model circuses and wooden toys. This mile-long street is also the biking centre with 20 or so shops selling anything from scooters to Harleys. Complete your tour with a Boullabaise on the Vieu Port, just like Our Man Flint.
