Michael Delamar
how well did the 81 and 85 kit do? would the 82, 83 and 84 be of interest do you think? either kit or rtr should be more interest with Bachmann doing the
Guest baldrick25
Transpennine class 124 DMU please!! Then 303/305/309 EMUs - there's enough livery variations there to keep you busy. ( not forgetting the scottish blue's)

Deltic Man
Hi Charlie I would like to see a good running motorised track maintenance machine (I know Bachmann are bringing out theirs) something like a tamper or bigger? Nik
RMweb Gold Phil Bullock Posted July 10, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 10, 2011 RTR Warflats and Warwells please! Think of all those lovely military vehicle loads they could carry - And you can get Coil Es out of the warflats too!!! Phil
James
How about either a modern Plasser or Matisa Tamper?
AMJ
Small 40HP Fowler 0-4-0DM these were built for many years and if you want to measure one Charlie you know where this one is. Or the later 0-4-0 Fowler diesel with the rounded bonnet Possibly a Hunslet that has a coat of many colours - I also have a photo of this loco in lined blue at the same spot. How about pre painted and detailed body swaps for the likes of the Hornby/Bachmann 08's to do the likes of the locos that are similar such as the 10, 11, 12 and the pre-grouping locos? Michael Delamar
I think a lot of the small diesel shunters lend themselves better to brass construction, because of things like slim windows and could prove tricky to get them to look right in plastic? so maybe best to leave them to the kit makers who already do them? corax67
Another order would be on the way for RTR Hunslets from me too - I have kit built enough of them over the years but would really love a modern quality RTR offering or two.
corax67
Should have included this link: file:///Users/karl/Documents/Rail%20Album%20-%20British%20Steel%20Corporation%20Ebbw%20Vale%20-%20Locomotives.webarchive I know where 170 lives too, it's on the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway
James90012
Agreed with Jim, Mk2E/F coaches including all major variations. Secondly, perhaps it would be good to go for a Bombardier product such as the 377, have it modular so that most other Bombardier 37X products can be created. Or alternatively, 185 or 222 units. Ragtag
I'll second the warflats and warwells - modern configuration please! Also - a Class 142 to the same standard as your 143/144 would be very welcome.
Weekday Cross
Transpennine class 124 DMU please!! In fact there is a whole family of Swindon BR DMUs - they got everywhere from Scotland to Liberia
5Bel
Hi Charlie, Bulleid pattern 2/4epb, long lived, lots of liveries. If you did it with seperate cab ends you could also do a 4Sub. Thanks for asking, Ian.
frobisher
Is taking your OO models to N gauge out of the question as that would get my first vote? Failing that, MK 2 air cons would be great - start with the DBSO varients, you know those will sell by the truck load... An AC EMU would be great as well - 305 and their ilk for maximum reuse on common bits of tooling..? 309 would be lovely of course. Or go for broke with the PEP/1972 derived EMU stock (313, 314, 315, 507, 508).

m0rris
INDUSTRIALS *COUGH Its the relatively untapped market out there, plenty would delve into exchange sidings/industrial railways should an industrial appear... and I've been after a diesel for ages (I can't build brass kits BTW so RTR is curently the only option with my skillset ATM)! As for what to make... the Hunslet diesel shown above would be perfect (used in steelworks, railworks and collieries across the land) but a RSH tank engine would be a winner as well. m0rris
halfwit
Another vote for an industrial diesel. A Thomas Hill Vanguard like this perhaps this would be usefull to a lot of us as it woudn't look out of place on any layout from the 60's onwards. And this type isn't available in kit form (although the bigger Vanguards are). And another vote for a Warflat as well.
charliepetty
how well did the 81 and 85 kit do? would the 82, 83 and 84 be of interest do you think? either kit or rtr should be more interest with Bachmann doing the 85 The kits of the 81 & 85 were dissapointing, only 150 ish ever sold, not convinced about overhead stuff!
