StuartM
This is my first foray into 2mm and is a fictional service point just outside a mainline station or terminus which is squeezed between two bridges while the mainline runs by. Everything you see (with the exception of the stock) is hand built, the track, the depot, the signal, the bridges and buildings. The small layout works and is driven by two small boards of electronics that again I designed, built and programmed. The depot is quite generic so it could be any region and any time between 1960-1980. I was brought up with corporate blue which shows in the accompanying photos. I used this competition as a method of pushing myself to learn new skills and improve upon old ones within the time frame allowed and in the process I learned a lot which will be put to good use on future projects. Tricky-CRS
Brilliant voting is going to be difficult with several excellent 2mmfs and N gauge entries. Keep to the good work. Is it likely to be at any exhibitions?

StuartM
Fabulous model. The detail is stunning, especially the hose reels on the out building. Well done. Regards Mike Thanks Mike, The hoses were made with really thin solder wrapped around a screwdriver and then painted black, very simple, very effective.
