Iam intending to model comet in LL and have a simple question, was the boiler port plated over?

Now I have the answer somewhere and I think it's in an old Rail Express... I believe that a couple of years back someone did a very nice 7mm model of it... I think there was some background info too... if you keep RE is might be worth a look through some back issues... but I shall have a look to see what I can find just in case you don't.

Just noticed the 37 nose thread has photos of it from each side, and you can actually see the boiler port, DOU`H :banghead:

PS any info greatly receved. Will probably have to get the mag now.

I haven't I'm afraid... there is a gap in my normally anal system of files.... The EE type 2 file is there and so is the Type 4... the Sulzer Type 3 File is present but I can't find the EE Type 3 file anywhere... but I shall keep looking.
