My Flickr sites annual 'HITS' for 2013 amounted to 2,333,384 more than double that of 2012 although Flickr appeared to change the 'counting' method during the year. There appears to be some uncertainty about the future status of Flickr in 2014 as BT are splitting from Yahoo, however for the moment I will continue to upload material as and when I acquire it.

All the best for 2014.

Ernie

First two are building of new kips and dish for Hudson North Dock conveyor loading point (as opposed to staith), Southdock, Hendon, Sunderland.

St Johns Church and school in the background is the giveaway as they appear in so many pics of Southdock shed.

As seen here:

Kips seen to the right of the WD in this pic:

and still there according to Google Earth. This link should take you there.

Phew, those 2 staiths shots have been puzzling me for years, I always thought that the last staith building/re-building was at West Blyth in 1926. Well spotted!!!

Flickr hits this year are now over 4.5 million with some 26500 images now up-loaded. There's still a fair number of my own negatives to upload and I am actively acquiring material as well so roll on 2015!

Surprised that KG didn't know the location. I'll pass the location on to Dunny so he can update his laptop.

There another done for you, and I think the Incline:

could be the Sacriston Wagonway at Byron Cottages. I'll have to a bit more digging on that but everything lines up for that chimney in the background being Dainty Dinahs.

OK, thanks,  saves me a job!

As for the incline the late Ken Hoole advised me the image was reversed but after all this time I can't remember now if I corrected the scan or not!
