Gday, sounds all good. Any idea of what size your boards will be or how they be constructed? Regards Glenn

Hi,

Not decided yet, I will probably buy the boards, I detest wood work, once the new stock arrives I will start thinking about size - and planning the fiddle yard accordingly.

You and me both on the woodwork side of things. Look forward to following your progress and seeing some photos of your new stock, good luck, regards Glenn

A small package, or is that a package of smalls arrived today ... from a well known retailer* in Merseyside**

I suppose I better start thinking a bit more seriously about this.

* other shops are available

** other counties are available.

*** other countries are also available but the range of shops specialising in British outline models is somewhat limited

Freightliner 66 and 2 more MBAs arrived, just need 2 more MBAs and then the first train is complete, but work (weathering, load etc.) required to make it presentable.

Hi DAS

I have never weathered any small scale models before, should be possible with the Iwata Micron C though.

I look forward to seeing them when you next visit from the East to the North West. :O At least they will not take up much space in the car

Keep at it

Tim

Really distracted today as I ordered some points.

I often get distracted........... is there a "ker-ching" smiley?

Looking forward to some kitchen table planning from the Anglia region

Cheers,

Mick

Points arrived, one has to go back as a well know Liverpool retailer has sent the wrong one, no rush though. I also accidentally ordered some MOAs and some BDAs and a couple of OBAs - silly me.

A couple more purchases, some platform materials (I've decided to put a couple of basic platforms on the scenic section, so a 153/156 worked service can reverse in the platform) and a 153. I was also looking at the Freightliner site and noticed they are selling their 66623s cheaper than my usual retailer, I must have accidentally clicked "order" as I got an email from them saying one was going to be despatched to me.

Slowly but surely it's getting there.
