The most excellent Historical Survey of Selected Southern Stations by Pryer and Bowring (OPC 1980 and reprints) is stated to be "volume 1" on the cover. Did a volume 2 ever appear? Thanks, David I don't know if this helps but the 1939 25-inch OS map of Barnstaple Junction was published in the Great Western Railway Journal No. 42 Spring 2002. I've several maps and plans of Barnstaple Junction, plus some photos ... but I'd like to find some drawings of the station buildings - that will make working out the dimansions and building it so much easier. I'm plannning on a trip to North Devon in 2018, so I may have to take my own (square on) photos. I wonder if my wife will mind holding the marked reference stick?!
