You mean you have got the :jester: to do your talk then.

Well, Peter was his usual ebullient self, keeping the audience entertained with a varied collection of slides & stories. Many of us were also grateful for his seemingly endless supply of chocolate eclairs, given out in exchange for snippets of information!

We're looking forward to an equally entertaining, although doubtless very different, presentation next month from Paul Atterbury. Visitors welcome!

We're always keen to find new speakers - if any of you have a rail-related talk, slide presentation or what-have-you and are within striking distance of the Axminster/Chard area, please get in touch.

There's also an open invitation to anyone who would like to join us - we presently have about 50 members drawn from the area bounded roughly by Sidmouth, Lyme Regis, Bridport, Crewkerne, Taunton & Honiton. Again, please get in touch or see the TRAC website at:

Just in case anyone is unaware, The Thorncombe Rail Activities Club, organisers of The Thorncombe Show, has sadly taken the decision to cease their activities.

There is a statement and explanation on their website here:  https://sites.google.com/site/traclubsite/Home

Having been a speaker there in the past - sad news.
