Recommended Posts

Well l think the O2 is finally done and is in the paint shop for a nice coat of under coat, and she will be finished in BR lined Black as No 35 'Freshwater' further research has found that Nos 35 / 36 were fitted with PP fittings so still more work to do....(Later).

Hello Andy, Yes l have always liked the look of the Adams tanks, having said that l love most of the Southern tanks...getting a collection of locos so l am thinking of building a loco depot...

The more l think about it the more it makes sense to build another depot, as my main interest is in building locos, No coaches, plus not much uncoupling to worry about.....

Hi George.

That is why I built Feltham Road MPD to run all my locos.

Me too, with Legge Lane MPD when I had no room for anything bigger.  But it's gone now, except for the turntable and that may live to play another role.  I designed the depot around the LMS cafeteria system but even then operating it got a bit boring.

But if locos are your thing it does make sense!

Paul

lt's been far too hot on the work bench to do any work in the daytime, but l did manage to finish the D3 Brighton tank in the evenings, and when the primer has dried there are a few gaps and holes to fill in that the primer has revealed, also l have permission from SWMBO for a short branch line along the garden from the shed, only a short run but somewhere to run in locos ?

Had a really nice visit to Andy's TOPS today to have a last look at KM, and had a lovely operating session on PB with his latest loco (in the form of a RAT he bought from Jinty), very nice too, also popped into his clubs running day, where a fine collection of O gauge locos were on show....
