GeorgeT's (7mm Workbench) TPO

As soon as you've built the M7, Dapol will probably bring it out RTR and DCC for just two hundred sods. hahahaha

Thats a point Mate, didn't think of that, cant see it though as they have done BR - LMS - SR  so maybe it will be GWR - LNER next time...

Almost finished the K10 build, shes ready for the big clean / wash up then the paint shop to be finished in BR Black 30384 then a nice heavy weathering job as she looked like just before being scrapped in 1951...

George

The wagon looks far better than the ones I built for a colleague. I finished them and they run (and he's weathered them) but they didn't look anywhere as tidy as yours does.

Hello Ray, Not bad kits for £30 each, nice brass clean castings not as easy as l thought but l got there in the end the first is a Catfish and the next will be a Dogfish, as l want to make a ballast train up l already have three Grampus to make yet and then l guess l will need a Shark ?

George T, good to meet you today at the Chapel show. I have admired your work on these pages for a good while now. I too prefer to model by myself at home rather than sitting around drinking tea at the local model club. I have found in the past that most model clubs that no more than about 10% of the members do anything with the rest there just to chat. Below is my latest loco as yet unfinished.

Bench is a total mess with two of us modelling but Mark is getting on well with his Chowbent Patriot, but we are struggling a bit with no instructions and only photos to look at....

Yes I've had a few kits like that...  The Patriot looks superb though.

Cheers, Dave.

Hello Dave, Mark is getting better every time we meet, and he does most of the work along side of me and l just keep an eye on him with some hints and being his third hand now and again making life a bit easier...

Having a break from locos today and picking a wagon out of the to-do pile, this time its a SR / BR Seacow 40ton ballast wagon, not as easy as l thought...the hopper is just placed on the chassis, looks very solid...
