hayfield Posted May 11, 2013 Share Posted May 11, 2013 I took a risk on Ebay buying a poorly described loco, thankfully it turned out to be what I had hoped for, which is an etched kit built loco (body). Please does anyone know any thing about it An etched body on a RTR chassis, looks to be reasonably made. Some soldered construction, other super-glued (to be redone) like the roof, doors and I think body cabinets. Un-known chassis with plastic side details (Like Gresley bogies) The white discolouring is not as pronounced in normal viewing and I have the missing cab door. It could do with a bit of refurbishment, super glued bits soldered, finer mesh, glass in windows, thicker buffer beams, a proper vallance under the footplate and perhapps a bit more detailing, like door handles, grab rails, steps whistle/horn but these will have to wait till I have a few of the Peco trains working Chassis unit, un-known make and I think glued in.
