LocoLaurie
'Clash at North Ridge' is a 00 gauge model railway sprinkled with science fiction. The idea is to get younger kids interested in the world of model railways. This layout had a small article in Model Rail (Oct 2013 issue). Here is the web page link below (with any events we are attending): http://homepage.ntlworld.com/calvertfilm/CalNorthRidge1.htm In fact I mixed it up with some Warhammer 40k figures called Space Marines and Orks. They are about 1/60th or 1/65th scale (depending on what you read), so about right, and near enough for this venture. The first version was built 2012. But the 2nd larger version was begun May 2013 and it's currently fully developed with special effects such as smoke, lights, sounds, and a moving spacecraft. The locomotives are something quite different too. I place plenty of update videos on my very active 'Calvertfilm' YouTube channel too. Here is a video of the 9F conversion to Lynx: (you can search other Clash videos from there). I hope you find this of interest.
