They've arrived at Kernow and I want one ( not need or could do with).

I haven't bought anything ##R since they changed my medication...

Oh lordy!

Oh blimey, I almost bought one of those...................just avoided weakening.

OK, I reckon that the upright part of the signal is about 18' and the platform is about 16'. I was not a standard size AFAIK apart from the Doll Posts and associated parts for those.

Any comments about these guesstimates would be welcome (thanks Mike.....)

The loco is Trev One if anyone wants to write it down.

Phil

Phil, try scaling from the length of the arms. Not sure how long they were on the Southern but that info should be easy enough to find.

Apologies for a serious post about railways. I'll try not to let it happen again.

Edit: Trev 1 Bay was our favourite North Coast beach.

Recently finished 35006, just after rebuilding, with BR AWS but no speedometer. Picture three shows detail of the cut-down 5000 gallon tender, with the later water treatment filler, yellow triangle on cabside.. Bashed from a 5100gallon example.

Contrast 35006 above with 35010, an early rebuild with original water treatment dosing tank on the rhs of the early crest 5000 gallon tender. No AWS, Speedo. or cabside marking.

35016 has the standard 5100 gallon tender, original water treatment tank, yellow spot on cabside, no speedo, no AWS.

All detailing parts from RT productions Bulleid range, nameplates and transfers from Fox.

Cheers from Oz,

Peter C.

Excellent Merchant Navies, very nice, but I'm more envious of the blue skies and warm weather. It's freezing here.

Only 33 degrees here - we are in the last week of summer after all - so the air-conditioned railway room was a good place to be.

All the posts are in fact standard. It's just that the bracket isn't available as an etch YET (maybe very soon however watch this space as they say).

Huh. We are forecast not to get above freezing for the next three days. And -6 overnight.

Quite. Will be tucking one's shirt into one's underpants for the foreseeable.
