Redsrail
Good morning. Could anyone help me with a paint/ product number for the mustard type colour that ARC use on their PGA aggregate hopper wagons please? Thanks in advance to any that help with this. Terry. lyneux
I was spraying just that very colour last night. Yes, it's your best bet for ARC! Guy
Redsrail
Thanks for the response Guy. I've just been having a quick read through your item on the ARC wagons you've been making, nice piece of work there. Just while we're on the ARC subject, are those the fox transfers that you're using? I'm thinking of getting some of those for the cab sides on this 04 i'm going to respray when the paint arrives. Terry.
lyneux
Hi Terry, Yes - transfers from Fox! On the subject of paint, Railmatch used to do an ARC mustard. It's not listed any more though. Guy
Redsrail
Hopefully the precision ARC yellow will do the job once its weathered, fingers crossed as its ordered now ) Terry.
lyneux
Terry, I found it might take a few coats with the airbrush (3 minimum) - it doesn't cover that well (probably because its yellow!). Good luck and don't forget to post up some photos of your PGAs once they're done! Guy
Redsrail
Thanks for the good luck wishes, but i'm only spraying 3 or 4 PGA's, the item i'm hoping comes out best is my class 04 shunter that changing to an ARC one Terry.
