davidbr
Have you considered a mobile one? This Ransom Rapier 6 ton, yet to be finished, is from Langley Models. Edited April 10, 2014 by davidbr
Nick Holliday
The GWR had several travelling cranes to deal with such eventualities, when the receiving goods yard didn't have the equipment. Cambrian do an excellent kit for one, which might solve your problem.

D826
Bob Just finished the n gauge one for my layout - Tintern. Fiddly in 'n' but I am pleased with the result. Will post a couple of piccies when I get the chance. I'm sure it'd be easier in 00 Regards Matt Wood
D826
There you go Bob, The photos just illustrate how much work remains to be done but I think the crane catches the essence of a Tintern. As I say, I expect the 00 gauge one would be an easier assembly - but I rather enjoyed putting the n gauge one together.
