I’m starting a new thread to be called “Extension to Whitecroft”. 2017 has been a difficult year, my wife having died from Vascular Dementia at the end of October. The 10 months from first symptoms up to her last four months in hospital were hell. Now it’s time to remake my own life so when I’m not fishing I will be extending the ParkeNd layout into a U shape around the room passing through Whitecroft in its original form. Since Photobucket wrecked this thread I shall start a new one.

So sorry to hear your news, Chris. I hope that this wonderful hobby will give you some means of distraction from the emotions that you are probably experiencing at the moment. My very deepest sympathies at your loss.

 

I understand only too well what that awful disease can do, to both those who have it and their close family, as both my in-laws suffered from it, before their passing a few years ago released them from their suffering.
