Hi everybody!

I would like to invite all of you to a discussion on LCUT creative products. I will also be posting update on our products in this thread in parallel to the newsletter we send out and Facebook posts.

A little bit about LCUT creative:
We are a small model railway kit manufacturer of mostly laser cut kits. At the moment we are only producing kits in 4mm scale but we want to expand to other scales in the future. At the moment we have three main product lines in the LCC range (LCC - Laser Cut Creative Modelling System):

LCC Stations (LCC B 00-00)

LCC Signal boxes (LCC B 00-03)

You can see all the bundles we have currently in stock under this link.

We also sell windows and doors kits for every occasion: (M 00-24c)

We also sell every single part in our bundles separately in case you would like to modify the bundle or design it from scratch! You can see all product categories here.

As always we are open to criticism and feedback on our products!

Introducing arches and viaducts

New system of arches and viaducts opens new modelling possibilities. Modular arch system allows for easy assembly of single, double and low relief arches. Also the range of different styles allows for addition of shops and warehouses to the arches. We also introduced a viaduct in two versions; single and double which can accommodate two line railway.

Starting with arches we have introduced the very anticipated O gauge line of products. After consultations with modellers and improving the initial O gauge products we are now releasing them for sale. Also with O gauge kits we are adding more details to the parts being rescaled. Many more kits and parts to come in near future!

Great stuff, one to watch.

I think I'll be placing a test order for some "0" products to have a play about with.

Best

Order placed and items are now in the hands of the Royal mail so could get them tomorrow.

I'm interested how good they paint up which I will be commenting on @ RM forum in my layout link.

Thank you Barnaby! I can't wait to hear what you think about them when you had a chance to play with them. What would you like to see released in O gauge in near future?

Very happy that the arches have been released.  I've placed an order for a couple of the arch units to test out.

How about a full 180 degree arch with Flemish Bond brickwork?

Yippeee ki yay I got a Lcut delivery.
STEP 1.
Fantastic quick delivery ordered Sunday night arrived first thing Tuesday morning in the post.
Very well packed  in a study lo-profile cardboard box - when opened there was bubble wrap about the poly bagged parts - on opening the poly bag there was a wiff of lightly toasted wood mmnnnnn.
Once out of the bag the parts are impressive and beautifully laser-cut very crisp and very clean.
STEP 2.
Dry build up of the parts and now I can't wait to get the glue pot out to complete the build.

One small instruction error in that it says to glue the top parapet piece [LCC 70-59 ]to the back of itself when I think it should say to the back of the main wall [LCC 70-56].  There is only one top parapet strip supplied which is correct.  No big problem and easy to correct.

I really like this product it is a very good price, very good quality with a speedy service and delivery what more could a modeller want.

Great work Lcut very good

Any chance of a warehouse panel and roof, something like the brick arch panel but stackable so as to make a 2 story building with lots of big arched windows. or some platforms long and short and some yard crane bases all in brick.
better stop with my wish list.

I've posted some photos of the opening ceremony of on my Layout page as of the link below.

Hi Barnaby,

Great to hear they arrived safe and sound! Apologies for the mistake in the manual it have been now corrected.

We thought about rescaling signal boxes first into O gauge but we may introduce warehouse/industrial parts first. We will also see what we can do about the general building materials for platforms and etc.

Thank you! Can't wait to hear what you thought about them.

We will be making more arches soon. Sadly I can say for now we cannot introduce any other bonds. They don't work with the interlocking system we use. If we find a solution to the problem we have we will definitely introduce new brick bonds!

Received my test pieces today too, just the arch panels.  Very impressed with them, and on a good thickness of wood

What I would like is the arch panels to be available with interlocking brickwork to allow a long run without using the brick piers to hide the join

I've built a few of the 4mm products and I continue to be impressed!

We are currently working on this kind of roof in OO gauge and we will rescale it to O gauge as well. To be exact we are working on a Northlight style roof for one of the engine sheds and that could be adapted if different pitches are needed.

How about a Saw tooth roofed engine shed, adaptable to various width's (3 or 4 roads )

Glad to hear they arrived safe and sound! We will be working on different kinds of arches for retaining walls soon which will have interlocking sides. We could have couple of different versions to suit different styles.

Oh yes please LCUT those items shown in your post # 23 are the very things I was asking for in my email to you today.  I did ask for the Lineside Warehouse kit as in 00 gauge to be made available in 0 gauge but if you can make the main elements available like you show above it would suit my low relief needs much better.  My preferred location is LMS/GWR crossover so any tweaks to items that would show that character would be great too.

I would like some small platform come stone bases to mount yard cranes on.  I've not checked all you do in 00 gauge so you may already make one.

On the matter of re-scaling say from 00 to 0 gauge does it just require you to adjust the scale on the laser cutter or is it a bit more complicated than that.  I ask this as you have quite a few items in 00 that I would like enlarging up to 0 gauge.

Do you have a time line for when the various 0 gauge items will get released so that I can plan  my time accordingly.

Great work LCUT keep it up.

Best regards

PS.  I'll drop contacting you via email and continue on here.
