RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted December 2, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 2, 2017 What's the origin of the buffer stop on the right, please, old chap?
RMweb Premium Tim Dubya Posted December 2, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 2, 2017 It is statistically impossible for any loading gauge to cause offence. The one at Norton is well hard, it's been refurbed and still at the goods yard frote. I remember when it was covered in shite almost to the top.
RMweb Premium Tim Dubya Posted December 2, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 2, 2017 (edited) What's the origin of the buffer stop on the right, please, old chap? RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted December 3, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted December 3, 2017 Evening all. The loading gauge is coming together. Much cobbling up going on involving a bit of bull head rail, brass wire and angle and few Ratio bits and bobs. Very loosly based on the one at Lamb Regis. RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted December 6, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted December 6, 2017 Morning all. A cruel close up of the loading gauge taken under direct light. In reality it is more muted in colour. That said, I am okay with it and it should soon be gracing Mutton. Rob.

RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted December 6, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted December 6, 2017 (edited) I prefer your loading gauge to a crate of mince pies. Most kind CK. I am partial to a mince pie as produced by the Memsahib NHY. She has been advised that they should conform with the limitations imposed by said gauge. I may attempt to install the LG in due course. Without fail, in a most expeditious manner. Diolch. Edited December 6, 2017 by nhy581
