Dunmar
Hi Just received my Bachmann 150/2 which I think is quite 'stunning' what a wealth of detail! Pity about the 'motor unit'with no apparent seating! May do something about that It might just fit in with my layout as the theme goes right up to the 80's - don't care - I'm running it anyway! I also intend to change the destination and replace branding with ScotRail. What do others think of it? Bill
Tim H
Picked up it's "Little brother", the N gauge version at the weekend. Biggest problem is it's so much of a quantum leap from the older models they just look crude and clunky by comparison. Stuff that's still in the Bachfar catalogue is like 80s Lima by comparison. Summer_Saturday
Hi Pity about the 'motor unit'with no apparent seating! May do something about that RMweb member Pete Harvey has developed an etch for false seating to add to the motor coach, following someone on here who did the same with plasticard. It looks very effective. His products can be found at http://www.phd-design.co.uk/page6.php. I shall be putting in an order with him for a few bits once the UK postal service becomes more stable
The Black Hat
has anyone been able to remove the motor block in a class 150 and replace it with something smaller. Im just wondering about being able to get seating into both compartments and lights fitted into the coaches. Seems a shame to only do one coach.... The Black Hat
So to do that John, did you just lift the chassis block off the top?
