I must confess this is by far the tidiest home arrangement I have ever had and I did clear the floor specially for the photo too. I've attempted something similar in my study using those plastic four draw storage units from the likes of B & Q and Wilkinson's. Unlike you though, before the baseboard went anywhere near it I immediately cluttered the tops with other storage boxes, paper and other railway stuff.
