Marbelup
It would be useful for other modellers if you said what material you used. Shapeways and other similar suppliers have a myriad of materials, and it is always useful to see examples of what others have achieved using a given material. RMweb Gold Joseph_Pestell Posted February 15, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 15, 2015 I've just created an album of my first attempts at 3D printing using Shapeways printing service (see album Wagon Bodies (3D printed for Dapol chassis ) Very nice. Are they just for you or will you be marketing them through Shapeways?
81E
The models were intended for my own use but I have set up a Shapeways shop called Stafford Road Models where I will make my prints available once they print successfully.
81E
I've only printed them in WSF polished so far. They would probably look a lot better in FUD but they work out a little too expensive. I have done some Doors for an LMS steel bodied closed van in FUD and am impressed with the results but fear the cost will be a bit high for complete bodies but I will make them available in that material if Shapeways will sell untested versions.
