RMweb Gold Pedro32 Posted July 27, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 27, 2015 There are some lovely products being developed here. Is there a time scale for releasing the building kits you have in 7mm into 4mm? As having see the drivers bothy that would be something I would like to build in 4mm! Thanks
Barnaby
Hello Phil after having a dabble with some of your test pieces I like their solidness and achievable paint finish very much. I too am looking forward to seeing the goods building sections being finished. My area is to be down the LMS and GWR lines but will be fictional so I'm hoping I will be able to adapt your kit pieces to suit by adding area specific paintwork and obvious building styles. I need to go down this route as even though I'm retired other interesting things, along with my daily chores [like hovering] pinch my time so I am unable to produce any diagrams for you to make from. I do like the mix and match idea of your templates so I can make a building to suit my needs some of which will have to be low relief. Track to be laid and wired next week followed by ballasting which until completed I wont know precise spacing for buildings and walls etc. Best

Barnaby
Phil I can see that you have the LNWR Goods warehouse in development intending to be ready for Telford. Do you happen to have the development panel drawings so that I can put together an order and maybe even collect at Telford. Hello again Phil, I can see from the gif you have on page 1 that there will be a double door hoist access panel, a window panel, an arch panel; will that be all or will there be some roof parts and or a human door panel etc. Have you costed each panel or multiple buys anywhere? And will any of your other panels fit with this@ Best Edited July 28, 2015 by Barnaby
Barnaby
Ref my post above @ 29. Here's a couple of sketches of 2 other panels I would like 1 is a plain brick wall and the other has a door and small window in it. Any chance Phil at this stage I'd probably be looking at a mix of panel about 11 max

I've also made it that orders can be placed now for collection at Telford to save postage costs on all items.
BrushType4
A sneak picture of one of our bespoke kits being painted by our expert Peter Insole. This is the prototype build being painted. The actual building was sent in kit form to our client in Australia.

When I go on the shop page I can't see the photos for the goods warehouse only a black square with a white X in it. all the other photos show up ok. I am able to see the panels else where but I'm not able to order them as I also want to know the cost of them before hand. Have you decided yet as I've got to plan my Telford spend . I'm looking to order some Hoist doors, windows, arch, plain brick and a door panels initially Edited July 30, 2015 by Barnaby

BrushType4
A couple more progress pictures of the building Pete is painting. Pete has made minuscule hinges so that the door opens. Just needs the mortar adding and a final wash of weathering.
Barnaby
Phil when you get some spare time in your busy life can you post a list of the "template panels" and their prices for the LNWR warehouse that you are doing? Then I can get an order made up for Telford. I don't appear to be able to see all of your shop pictures [in particular the LNWR warehouse] so if they are on there I'm stuffed. Which is the best place to view them here, WT or FB. Many thanks
BrushType4
Just a little update on the little building now that it's been finished. Barnaby
Immaculate. I like the lead flashing, is that part of the kit or some carefully moulded foil off a waste food tray. Best
BrushType4
Immaculate. I like the lead flashing, is that part of the kit or some carefully moulded foil off a waste food tray. Best Thank you. This was a prototype build for a commission kit that we built up, detailed and painted as an example of our products. The build features detailing such as hinged opening door, guttering and lead flashing that are not possible to supply as part of our standard range of kits at this time. We will be putting up detailing tips and painting tutorial on the website soon and possibly sharing on my buildings thread. The tutorial will definitely include how to create the hinged opening door and more.

BrushType4
We have updated our GCR Platelayers hut and released an LNER Type D Platelayers Hut. Updated GCR hut in the paint shop. The LNER Type D first build is pictured below and we will have painted version on stand 122 at Telford. At Intentio, we try to create our model buildings as realistically as possible within the limitations of the materials we use. For example we will replicate the correct brick pattern and arch details as closely to the original as possible. We look forward to seeing old and new customers at Guildex on the 5th and 6th September. Stand 122 (Buzz Models). two tone green
Ok, almost there. What are the dimensions please. The base and the building? Thanks
BrushType4
The base is roughly 32cm X 16cm, the shed is very slightly smaller. Large enough to hold non tender steam loco's or small diesels. For exact measurements I'll need to let you know once I'm back at the office.
two tone green
Thanks Phil. I have just got back from being away in Belgium for the new year so need to get into the railway room to see if it will fit where I need it.
