It is beautiful, I am amazed. Please tell us what scale it is or how big it is. Please explain how you built it by showing more pictures.

I do not think I have ever seen such a stunning first post, thank you for showing it to us.

Fantastic model. The full engineering details between the frames are modeled more accurately than most working models. I'm in awe.

My first thought on seeing the photos was literally "F*****' 'ell, that is absolutely brilliant".

To then realise it was made of cardboard makes it even more brilliant. This clearly gives the Martin Finney "Duchess" kit a phenomenally good run for its money.

What other cardboard masterpieces have you got hidden up your sleeve?

I am in awe of your skills Mirek! I keep going back and studying the pics only to discover more details I had previously missed. Even the rivet detail is beautifully applied. How long have you been modelling in card?

Hello Dear Visitors,

Thank you very much for your compliments.

I have two questions:

Is there anybody interested in continuation thread with cardboard loco's - now built by me 241P?

Is this place correct for this thread or thread with current progress of construction should be in another place?

Regards

Mirek

When I read the thread title, I thought 'oh no! not another magazine part work; is it worth reading this?'

Once I looked at the first photo I realised how I couldn't have been more wrong.

I have to say Mirmic that your models are some of the most wonderful creations that I have seen for a long time. It is the detail that astonishes me; imagine adding all those rivets and pipework in cardboard.

Congratulations on simply stunning work.
