Steve-e Posted June 7, 2015 Author Share Posted June 7, 2015 Just started working on my second train for the meet the first been Class 47 with SPA wagons from the 1980's this one been Class 37 with a short ballast train from the 1990s the third will probably be Class 40 + some of the Tetleys wagons that I have from the 1960's The class 37 is a VI trains one that I picked up 2nd hand in C&M models Carlisle and I have given it a light blast of weathering (still need some more on the underframe), ordered some nameplates and I am starting to add the detailing parts. I have managed to add the sound chip from one of my TTS class 37s which in my opinion are too light and need some weight added so the chip was added here I also managed to swap the speaker and sort the lights issue when adding the Hornby chip to the ViTrains chassis. Quite chuffed with this a it's was the first time I'd undertaken something which to me was a big job.. So here's some pics of the 2nd train.
