  6. I am sorry to inform you that due to circumstances beyond our control, this years RailEx, which was to be held on Sunday, November 6th, has had to be cancelled. The National Brewery Centre site will close on 30th October and be turned into office accommodation by the owners, Molson Coors. Thank you to all exhibitors, traders and visitors who have supported us since the first show in 2011. Binny
  7. I am sorry to have to inform you that the Burton Model RailEx 2022 is now cancelled. Molson Coors still own the site and they have plans to turn it into office accommodation. So much history contained in a unique venue-it is such a shame that it is to be lost. There is an online petition which can be found on Staffordshire Live or Burton Live. The site closes as a museum on October 30th and then the site will be cleared before alteration work can begin. We have no choice but to cancel the RailEx and are currently trying to contact all exhibitors, traders and public to inform them of the circumstances. Thank you to all exhibitors and traders and visitors who have supported us since our first show in 2011. Binny

  12. After much consideration, we have decided that it is in the best interest of the club and it's members, our exhibitors, traders and the general public to cancel this year's RailEx which was to be held on Sunday November 1st. A large number of the people involved in our hobby are likely to have been shielding to protect their health & any kind of distancing required would make exhibition's very different to what we have become accustomed to & would present a fresh set of challenges. Please stay safe and well. We look forward to seeing you in the future.
  13. Hi Bodge Good work. It is a shame that you had to remove some of Seven Mills, but it has to fit in its new railway room. Glad that you are still able to do a bit of work. Who knows-perhaps a running session next? Bin
