  1. I'm so looking forward to this show. It will be so exciting to see it back at its home of the Chatham Dockyard.
  2. I can confirm that the Chatham and District Model Railway Club are in the process of looking to put together an exhibition for next year. Further details to follow in due course. As Fulton has suggested, there has been an infusion of younger members that want to bring an exhibition forward. With George having to pull out of Fort Pitt for various reasons, and now concentrating on the GRES Show at Gravesend, it has created a hole in the Medway Towns.
  3. In Kent, I have seen 2 posts on Facebook regarding possible exhibitions this year, posted by Kerry of Invicta Model Rail Ltd (IMRL). The first is at the Bredgar and Wormshill Light Railway near Sittingbourne where Kerry has been approached to organise the exhibition as she had done back in 2018 and 2019. This is supposed to take place on Sunday 1st August from 10:30am to 4:00pm. You just pay for admission to the railway and you can also ride on the trains all day. You will need to drive to here though as it is close to the M2 Junction 5 for the A249. The second one, Kerry posted a message from The Medway Model Show (TMMS) at Fort Pitt in Chatham saying that they hope to run on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September. This show is about 1/3 mile from Chatham Station. You would need to check the current rules and also keep checking online or on the Facebook pages for IMRL and TMMS to make sure these are 100% going ahead.
  4. Excellent. That gives me something to plan for next year. Thanks Chris.
  5. I am looking forward (as I do every year) to visiting the show tomorrow. I was wondering if any of the organisers could tell me what the date of the show is in 2020? I have something booked for 21st & 22nd November 2020, so was hoping that if you go by the plan of having the show on the last full weekend in November that I should be able to make it next year (27th & 28th). Apart from in 2015 when I had a really nasty flu bug, I have not missed a show since I started going 10 years.
  6. I'm sure I clicked I'm sure I clicked on the Warley thread. I was using my phone, so may have clicked the wrong one. I am definitely going to Peterborough this year as I couldn't make it last year due to doing shift cover at work. I am really looking forward to it
  7. I know it is a bit early, but what date is the Warley Show next year? The reason I ask is that I have something planned next year so will miss it if it is on the 21st and 22nd November. Do you follow the rule of the last full weekend in November? If so then I should make it.
  8. A new addition to the show traders. South Eastern Finecast are also attending.
  9. Has been added to the calendar. Sorry!!!
