Nice and easy to take apart - one screw located in the funnel,
which removes completeley. Disconnect the four pipes at each
corner of the chassis and pull the chassis down from the front.
The motor is located under a plastic cowl.
Carefully de-solder the red and black wires from the motor,
remove the capacitor and discard it
The lenz silver will fin niceley in the firebox above the motor
cut off the plug and trim the redundant wires to a 1" length.
(In case required for future use)
Connect the grey and orange wires to the motor, connect the red
wire from the decoder to the BLACK wire on the chassis and the
black decoder wire to the RED wire on the chassis - otherwise
the loco will run backwards. (This one did! - quick change to
CV29 bit1 did the trick!)
This is a good chance to test the loco and ensure everything is
running properly
Clip the decoder into the top of the firebox and re-assemble the
locomotive.
The wires and decoder are partially visible in the cab but are
not obtrusive.
