Khris's W/Bench

Postby kandc_au » Sat Sep 26, 2009 6:31 am

?llo,
While I am building my layout in the studio, of an evening I am fiddling inside either on buildings for the layout or rollingstock.
Currently I have been cutting and shutting some Dapol bodies into a 3 car non-articulated set.
Why?
Because they look different.
It appears that they didn't go out country until late in life but, I'm making inquiries about buying a licence :D
I have a bit of a fascination with the non- corridor stock, but don't know why.

They are supposed to be Dapol.
Thats all I can tell you as I bought them on ebay.
I have since bought another 8 but not sure what I am going to do with them.
Now thinking of making some other things with those.

Its good to see some Ausie butcherin' of these kits, I have bought 12 gwr 4 wheelers for similar thoughts, although they are a little down the end of the list, but looking at Russels gwr coaches makes you reach for the stanley knife.
Please post some more photos as you get on with them.
And who would I have to kill to get 38 feet of track. You lucky [Censored]. (Marvelous race the Romans)
