  1. No i didnt its just that it sometimes takes an age for my replies to get through for whatever reason i dont know!
  2. The Air That i Breathe - The Hollies
  3. Yes all pretty sad really, would it be viable to tow it out and sink it and who would pay for that i wonder?
  4. Takes me back to the early seventies, lying on my bed in the airman's quarters at RAF Hendon on a weekend listening to the Peaks climbing Hendon bank out of Euston.
  5. Would be good, ok in the day but suffering another bout of pain there recently hasn't helped. Spraining myself due to low testosterone is easy to do. Even sneezing can bring it on and i seem to have a lot of hay fever symptoms recently. Anyway, the sun is shining here and Kathy is making her latest batch of carrot soup and the bread maker is rocking gently as i speak.
  6. https://www.enr.com/blogs/14-gold-rush/post/56784-the-fate-of-the-falls-of-clyde What will happen to this vessel eventually as its now closed to the public in Honalulu harbour and seems like its in danger of sinking?
  7. I Shot The Sheriff - Bob Marley
  8. Well Roy Erskine Bear [God Rest His Soul] has done a full seventy eight point inspection and notes that all the springy and wobbly bits are within spec. There is a degree of sloppiness within the lower appendages so it might be a touch of Moortens Aroma.
  9. It was a Dixon of Dock Green episode from the early seventies involving also a six or more wheeled passenger transporter thingy going across a causeway to an island where plod were trying to keep the dolly bird safe. She had other ideas and jumped into a Maxi to get away, hence the chase.
  10. Oh you mean Jumping Jack Flash! Ours doesnt deserve such a friendly moniker as he doesnt behave with the dignity one would expect from a quality product. And Dave the Dyson isnt much better he is a bit of an animal most days!
  11. Tell you what, vitamin D3 pills make mine worse supposed to take calcium pills as well but the combination ones i was prescribed have soya oil in them and i have a reaction to anything soya based so thats a no go!
  12. Wish we could have muggy, we were down to near freezing at dawn and it was chucking it down as well. No thunder though, the Dartmoor land mass to the north west of us greatly affects our weather.
