About this blog

My layout is based on the MTR/KCR (Mass transit railway/Kowloon Canton railway) east rail line. The layout is set in the late 90s right before the KCR merged to form the MTR. Everything is H0 scale and most of the Metro Cammell MLR stock is scratch-built with the help of a resin 3d printer. The system in which I use is the Digikeijs DR 5000 with a office PC to control most of the trains. The points are all insulfrog because of the simplicity but many of the motors have not been installed. In the future I am planning to use seep point motors to throw many of the points except for the fiddle yard which are using atlas snap track switches. There is still a lot left to complete on the layout especially the buildings and rolling stock so I will continue to post on this blog and on my youtube channel. Feel free to subscribe and check out my  channel!
