The things we do for layouts.
Step 1 - find out some actual chimney pot designs to get an idea of modern heights and diameters.
Step 2 - as the club layout (Axford) is ex-GWR have a look at those on Castle Cary. First snag the one’s it had have gone. Track down an old photo to establish they were tall with two bands around.
Step 3 - begin the make. 11 strips cut, cocktail sticks cut ready for the wrap.
Step 4 - the short, now dowels, superglued to the strips.
