Boarding Out

Argos

After last week’s disasters it’s great to be making progress again. :)

The main board sub-frames are now complete.

The pic below shows the jigsaw puzzle against the “one I finished earlier” (Blue peter style).

Also Board One is now topped out,

The pic below shows the finished article and how the fiddle board fits in.

Finally an overall shot of the length of the boards.

And of course to prove the concept, packed away in the box file.

A packet of goodies has now arrived from shop 1 so it’s on with the track……. :locomotive:

Nick, It's finest quality, whole grain MDF, 4mm, laminated with PVA.

Thanks for the compliment but to be honest the pictures flatter as the joints are not as tight as they could be.

A bit of woodfiller prior to painting will soon sort that out though. ;)

I do like the Blue Peter style presentation, give the man a badge! I presume that the last picture, shows the bottom of the baseboards, and not the track side.

Lisa,

Richard is correct.

The last picture is of the top of the boards, the clip on the boxfile will be removed, it's just useful at present to hold things in place.

Currently the one of the backscene boards is stored under the boards, not sure if there will enough space once platforms etc. are added. The buildings, signal and trees will be demountable (as will any people to save accidental decapitation!)
