Well Devondynosoar118 worked it out late yesterday it is indeed The Rocketeer!

I did get it done in time for the Birthday party presentation on Feb 9th, but it was a close run thing. It's a long time since I've worked 'til 2am three nights in a row! Still as they say, "If you can't take a joke, you shouldn't have joined!"

 

Next project is an NLR 4-4-0T No1 class, but I'll be doing some 4mm NLR figures too and I'll post them as I go along.

Can't believe it took so long for me to guess! Those large scale figures take a lot of painting. I did a 1/24 napoleonic calvary soldier for my mother in law, it took about 30 hours to complete. I am starting a 1/48th scale T34-85 today.

Hi Dougal.  Good place to look is in the Gauge 'O' Guild website on their traders list for contact details.  There's Andy Stadden [who worked with me for Britains] who has a limited range, but nice figures.  Omen Miniatures, with a broad range, although the figures vary from good to slightly 'clunky'.  The only one to avoid IMHO is Aidan Campbell.  That is unless you like caricatures of railway figures who would look more at home on a fantasy wargame board!
