Drawings! Blimey that is organised of me! But oh, if I had a laser cutter now! To do these I scanned a sheet of embossed plasticard and used as the background. Then, by drawing a grid of guide lines and snapping to these I got perfectly horizontal and vertical lines. used a couple more tricks - just drew one window then copied it and just drew one half of the building then copied it and flipped it horizontally thus saving a whole load of work.

Once finished I printed out 9in two halves as bigger than A4then Pritt stickered onto foam board,

Was then really easy to cut out all the windows and doors. Built up the window surrounds in card with a printed template again and am using plasticard for the infill. Probably about a third of the way there now after an evenings work.

It will be 'mildly distressed' - which is my normal state! Will try and get it pretty close to the picture but is going to be little more than a frontage as I want to leave room for the 'garden' and those wonderful railings that I shall tie my horses to.

Can't wait to see you put the hammer on it and get it like the real thing.  Great workmanship.  Those pictures are fantastic - it must have really been like Hell after the shelling.

Happy Christmas

Thanks Mike, that's really interesting and what's more even the wife seemed to thinking of things she could do with one! Let us know how you get on.
