blog-0184775001390317547.jpgModel Rail Scotland is please to present the annual Scottish Gathering of Model railway enthusiasts for another prestigious event held at the SECC in Glasgow.

Dates this year are Friday 21st Feb – Sun 23rd Feb 2014.

With around 30 clubs members of AMRSS is the only show in the UK where such a large group of member groups pull together to produce a Model Railway show. With such a large group pulling together it creates a great friendly atmosphere for which Model Rail Scotland has become renounced across the UK.

The show team are proud to promote the development of the hobby and with much talk of 3D printing technology we are please to announce that ‘Magic Models’ will be providing a 3D printing Demo during the show. Magic Models a Scottish company provides a 3D design and printing service. This is an exciting development within the hobby and a big draw for all modellers to bring the visions we all have into something physical fairly quickly.

The show Demo tables and display cases will show a vast array of modelling techniques and it’s a great opportunity to see what great craftsmen we have within the hobby.

Scottish Modellers - Andy Haynes

Roland Turner - Falkirk MRC

EM Society - David Franks

Scottish Region Study Group - Steve Turnbull

Glasgow South Model Tram & Train Group - Andy Russell
