No Pictures Tonight I Am Afraid

Sorry, I seem to have lost the little camera, well not lost exactly as I know I had it earlier but where it is now..........

On it are a bunch of pictures from an action packed weekend and significant progress on the latest building.

Saturday saw me off to Burton upon Trent for the 7mm Narrow Gauge Association annual do. As always, a good selection of layouts and traders and some very useful chats with several people. One in particular which has saved me a lot of trouble in scratch building a Kerr Stuart Joffre as a kit is imminent. Was also good to meet a couple of other RM Webbers including one I have been speaking to for a number of years but have just found out who he is!

Made a couple of useful purchases without getting too carried away and shall cover at least one of these shortly.

Today saw a Fathers Day trip into Birmingham with my two girls and after a cracking Chinese lunch a visit to the Rowland Emett exhibition at the art gallery. To actually see lots of his wonderful machines working in all their glorious colour and eccentricity was great and when I find that damned camera I shall show you!

The cafe ###### shop is now almost finished which is great as was started less than a week ago and looking rather good 'though I say it myself. You could see for your self if I had the camera.

First thing tomorrow has to be a big tidy up!

Ooh, tell more about the Joffre-I need one to go with the other unstarted kits I will build eventually!

Couldn't get to Burton this year-gutted I had to work (though that was good as well).

You could quite easily have missed it even if you were there! It is a very nice chap called Mark Clark of Locos n Stuff, you can get him on borsig1958@gmail.com or 01634 575081. He thinks about 3 or 4 months until kit is ready. Likely to be a complete kit either O-14 or O-16.5 and aiming at the
