Problems of all sorts!
It just has been one of those weeks really on all sorts of levels! You can take that as an apology for not a lot of progress and not a lot in the way of pictures. There are pictures but they are on the computer that is out of action with a faulty PSU (I hope!). Was fairly well prepared for such things having bought an emergency spare a few months ago onto which I had transferred some stuff but not nearly enough. Along with school plays, and loads of other things cropping up not very much time left over. Still plodding away with the H class water tank but slowed down here due to yet another Maplin variable temp solder iron going wrong - this time it was just not getting hot enough. Exchanged though with no problems.
Have made some more moulds for shells
Which led to more shells being made. Have tackled the problem of how to lift them out by drilling the tops of the ones in the center and sticking some florists iron wire in the resulting hole;
Then trimmed level. I made up a temporary lifting tool by just picking up a magnet on the bottom of a jewelers screw driver and they now lift out a treat;
Have temporarily run out of pressing things to do this afternoon so was going to tackle the mounting for the back scene and fascia which was going to involve cutting wood outside. But, guess what? Is now pouring down out there!
