Recycling part 2

The house move happens on Friday and whilst we were going through the process I didn't do any work on the loft layout. Instead I turned my attention to some stock. I recycled some very old Triang wagons dating back to my first train set as a 6 year old (or maybe younger). A bright orange drop side iron sided wagon has become a GWR permanent way dept truck in black with the small logo on the left.

A standard Triang coal wagon, originally plain brown plastic has become a well used and dirty NE wagon.

The brown bogie bolster is now a weathered standard wagon grey vehicle. So are some 4 wheel bolsters and a previous green bogie well wagon. Paints and processes are as per the last post but with Old Time water slide transfers.

Okay, the wagons are not standard or real diagrams and the purists amongst you will be screaming in horror. However, considering my steam locos have electric motors in them instead of fire and water, I think it's an acceptable compromise. Anyway, being set in the mid 1930s I can always blame constituent companies ;-)
