Yamanouchi Oshika
A fairly quiet night on Friday, with only four of us in attendence. For me, it was the chance to run a couple more trains and to start planning the town area.
The rather faint lines on the board are sketching out a wide boulevard, to be flanked by high rise buildings. There was the suggestion we would have a tram line, however in view of the space and available time this is now unlikely.
A couple of buildings were obtained at Warley, and we will start locating these next week, although I do have a pretty good idea where they will go. Also we have one of the infamous Pachinko parlours, which seem to be in every town in Japan; had to have one really...
What trains were running? This time it was a couple of units which spend their time on suburban services on the Tokaido main line out of Tokyo - the E231 - on the left - and the E217 (with double-deck carriages) on the right.
