HI all,

Thought I would do a quick post whilst I am having a couple of days off, even though the phone keeps ringing :telephone:

A Tyne dock 9F that I was asked to convert from a standard Bachmann 9F

I re-worded the water streak after taking the last pic as it was a little bit heavy but it was quite prominate on the proto pic that I was working from.

Cheers

Simon

These look splendid work-horses, and the Westinghouse pumps give a special 'character'.

I've seen many strange things growing out of locomotive chimneys but that curly thing is the strangest yet :)

That's what having to give up the spare room to visiting guests dose to you when you cant use the normal shelf for picky taking.

Looks very good to me I like the Air Pumps. I lived at Consett and the line was at the end of our street next to the station bridge I thought the Loco numbers were 9206X.  I don't recall 62099 I may be wrong.

There were three sets of Iron Ore cars 10 in each set but 9 ran in the rake one from each rake was held as a spare.

I had the fun of having a cab ride from the station to the gantry and the driver dropped me off at the station on the way back.

I was only 10 at the time. I remember having to keep my head down as we passed "Mr Willson" in Carr House West Signal Box.

HI Richard,

The loco 92099 was an odd one as it didn't have the full width step under the smoke box door, it still had the normal two small steps.

I knew the wagons ran as a 9 car set but didnt know about the spare wagon. As they say you learn something new everyday.

cheers

Simon
