Overall I think this is all looking quite excellent, particularly as far as atmosphere goes.

Thanks, yeah there's several 'new' buildings...one in particular at the back left, which hides the railway line end....I reckon I can fit something like a 1F/3F and brake van behind this building out of viewers sight.....so thoughts are turning to a shuttle system to operate that on the embankment.

Those trams bring back memories. However, have you ever thought of doing a balcony tram? My only recollection of seeing them at Crossgates is in mid-winter, with frost on the raailings and silly me sitting out on the balcony (with other silly kids).

The balcony cars had pretty much gone by the period modelled 1948-54, but I must admit stretching the period so they and some of the wartime era khaki painted cars does appeal, and 'doing' a balcony would also make the converts possible to as they were the enclosed balconies done just pre war.

If my memory does not fail me, I saw these trams still during the war period, since after the war they put buses up our way (40 Stanks) and I stopped taking the tram into town.

Memory is spot on.....the balconies lasted until 1947 when the last one 309 was withdrawn, six survived till 1945 and were whittled down to 309.
