SPROSTON- putting up fences

blog-0164202001430769664.jpgAs usual leaving all the difficult bits till last, I have finally had to give in to the inevitable,- and have 'bit the bullet' so to speak - I have been busy putting up all the lineside fencing on the layout.

I decided to use black fine 0'05mm 'EZ-LINE' from the states .www, berkshire junction.com (Berkshire junction ,p.o box 205,Adams,MA 01220) held in place with superglue onto Ratio GWR 423 lineside fencing, with the posts spaced at 1" intervals and glued into holes drilled in the board, but decided to add just 5 lines of wire for the fencing rather than 7,mainly because I needed the rest to complete the railway pole-route and the telephone wires in the town!

The photos hopefully show the result, I am reasonably pleased with the effect. Though I cannot truthfully say that fitting it was really an enjoyable experience!!!

Amazingly, I managed to fit it all without demolishing or decapitating the signals and loading gauge...

This is one of those things that I think has no 'best time' to fit it!!

At least I have had no more visits from flying objects...

Regards

SIGTECH (Steve).
