Well today I had a little free time so of all the part completed jobs on the at the current time the one that grabbed my attention was the storage boxes.........I now think maybe I should have dome something else.

If you look at my last update I had sort of created two storage trays to fit into one of the "really useful" 4 litre storage boxes, and this was sort of successful, I even managed to get 8 slots in each of these trays, as originally even though I considered a foam lining, a baize alternative seemed the better option.

However I had a change of mind tonight and decided that the better option would to be to line the sides and the base of each slot in the trays with a thin foam. As I thought this would provide a better protection for the paintwork on coaches and Locomotives due to its cushioning effect than just baize.

This has meant that the dividers needed to be widened slightly to accommodate the extra width of the foam, which has meant I can now only get 7 slots in the trays so I have lost a little storage space, AND THEN I RAN OUT OF FOAM (well actually I have more I just cant remember where I have put it).

Oh well back to the drawing board and to the foam supplier, will it never end, as ever until the next time Happy Modelling
